Skyview settings update post canopy switch mod

As directed, after performing the canopy switch installation, I downloaded and installed a new Skyview setup file from Van's website. The software update creates a screen widget and an audible warning for the canopy.

However, with the new software, my RPM gauge no longer changes its color arcs when the oil temp is above/below 122 - a feature that I really liked. Anyone else have this problem? Does anybody know how I can bring that feature back?

Report this to Vans ASAP.
I hope you made a backup of your configuration before you imported the Vans mod.
Check to see if the ENGINE TYPE is specified as ROTAX. If not, selecting that should change the RPM widget's oil-temp based behavior.

Also do a backup of your CURRENT post-vans config so we can figure out the switch logic per this post:

You were right. Somehow the software upgrade changed my motor type from Rotax to "other." Changing it back solved the problem.
