How much side play in WD-411 front stick?

I am assembling control system on an RV8. Tapering the bushing now...How much side play in WD-411 front control stick you have if any? I have 1/16 and it seems like a lot.

I tried for as little as I could get and still have it turn nicely when tightened down. However I doubt it will matter much as there never really is side loads on the stick to slide it across that bushing in actual use. I just sanded down the brass a bit and clamped the u pivot with the bolt to tighten it up a touch.

Vlad make your life easy , cut the stick off about 1-1/2 above the base and machine a bushing and use a 7/8" stick . No stick to contend with during construction , makes working laying down pretty easy .
