Mid fuse brace covering

I was just making my Oshkosh shopping list and wondered what people used to cover the brace that the setbacks rest against. In a bunch of pictures from different RV-12's, it looks like wing walk tape or something similar.

A long, thin piece of sticky-back, black, tape pre-cut to size for the cross brace should have been supplied with your kit. It is the same stuff as your pieces of wing-walk / floor panel tape. On my RV-12, instead of the factory-supplied black tape, I decided to use some marine deck tape that was colored "gray" to better blend in with my gray interior.

I think this came with the Finish kit and it was in the same box where the wing walk pieces were in.
