Canopy foam

I trimmed the canopy foam as per directions. It appears to me that the length also needs to be trimmed. I don't see any mention of that in the plans. Before I start cutting, has anyone else had to trim the length as well?

It's not clear to me what dimension you are referring to. Can you post a picture?
