BMS13-48 Nickel Plated Wire

It seems I've found a source for BMS13-48 ETFE wires and am highly interested in using this aircraft-grade wire in my build. I notice this wire is nickel plated, rather than tin plated available from most avionics suppliers. Researching a bit I see this wire doesn't lend itself to soldering. Any other issues using this I should be aware of?

ETA: Should specify type 26, BMS13-48 covers many wire types...

Right now I can get as much 5-conductor 24ga shielded wire as I want (this is the nickel plated stuff), and a fair amount of single strand unshielded 16ga (tin plated). Not enough gauges to do my whole airplane, but hey it's free so I figured I can use it where I can.

Soldering

There really shouldn?t be much, if any, soldering in your build. Pretty much everything is crimped. Just make sure you use a quality tool that is correct for the job...

For the record, the Space Shuttle used that nickel-plated wire. I grabbed some leftover twisted, shielded pair that had been tossed in a dumpster at KSC and built it into my airplane for sentimental reasons.
