CoPilot Brakes

The hardest part is not flying during the install.

Just follow the easy steps to install as you stand on your head.

Other than training, chances are they will never be used.

Don't have a plane yet but one of the ones we are looking at only has pilot brakes.

The reason we want brakes on both sides is that my wife is taking lessons now and would possibly like to use our new plane for lessons (once we get one) and then we both want to be able to fly from either seat.

Its not a bad job as long as you or the wife has some yoga skills to get under the panels and access the rudder pedals. Bleeding the brakes and getting air back out will probably take the longest.

Pretty easy. Change the reservoir/crossover hoses to the co-pilots side for reservoir only, 2 crossovers. Bake for 2 hours, turn over, marinate with the proper brake fluid, bleed and test.

Oh thats assuming you have installed the master cylinders already. If not, practice being inverted for a while!
