Default Garmin A/P ESP behavior change

Just curious if anyone else has notice behavior changes in ESP. My ESP was setup in the manner of the following behavior and no changes in its parameter/configuration has been made.
- In a steep bank angle, it would push the stick the opposite direction (hinting the pilot) and the force would get stronger as the parameter was increased more and more. Normal behavior as I understood it.
- In an unusual attitude, steep bank and climbing or descending rather steep, the auto pilot will engage in a LVL mode with a voice alert. Again normal behavior as I understood it.
Last week I was flying and practicing steep turns and the A/P would engage if I made a steep turn but straight and level. I also notice the voice alert was changed to inform the pilot of the action.
The only change that I have done is to upgrade the 650 to 6.2.2 and also upload the new/current NAV data base on both G3x and 650
