Source for Dynon D1 battery

It seems the battery in my D1 Pocket Pilot is shot. It will not hold a charge and now won't even stay on when plugged into AC or USB.

I get 3.7v at the internal connector. Should be 5V. I have tried the reset routine several times with no improvement.

I put in a technical support ticket to Dynon several weeks ago with no reply.

I'm happy just to replace the battery if I can find a source.

Thanks for any ideas!

No ideas? D1 battery source

Still have no reply from Dynon on sourcing a D1 replacement battery.

And, no ideas from the VAF braintrust?!?

Anyone?

I guess my next step is to visit the Geeks at Batteries Plus... they love to re-engineer battery solutions. (expect for ELT's!). This battery will be for my "pool controller"!

Thanks for any ideas.

You need to send the unit to Dynon to replace the battery, call support and they can give you a RMA number.

If you take it apart you will most likely damage the internal GPS Antenna and/or the inertial sensors.
