Default Polishing near intersections

I have been polishing my RV-6 for some years now. I've made good progress, but have always felt that I was getting sub-standard results at the wing roots (both on the wing and fuselage) as well as where polished meets fiberglass, wing walk, etc.

Any tips for making this better would be appreciated.
