Honeywell Oil P failure

Guys, I know this has been beat to death, but let me add my input. I read of all the Honeywell oil pressure sensor failures and bought a bench spare Kavlico sensor, but my Honeywell sensor went squirrelly two weeks ago with ntermittent 0 psi indications, and I tracked the issue to the firewall forward spade connectors. I would suggest to early builders that before you jump into sensor replacement check the spade connectors if the indication is intermittent. BTW, I have slightly over 500 hrs on my 12.

However, I am running a spare 5V excitation line while I have the avionics bay open!

There are specific nail head connectors that are used in the auto industry, mostly on coolant sensors. They cost about four bucks each. If I had trouble in this area, I sure would try them..........Tom
