Sikaflex Question

After I put the first coat of Sika 295UL on to bond the canopy to the frame, do I have to apply another coat of primer before the last thin cosmetic coat of 295? I can't find the answer on Sika site or VAF.

No, Sika will stick to Sika - get it on promptly though, within 12 - 24 hours.

When I have done the canopies on our 7 and 8, we put a 'grab' bead on to get the canopy in place. the edge of the primer was still there masked off and as soon as the first bead was set, I went on with the finish bead. It is therefore stuck to fresh Sika and the residual primer to either side.

As Mike said, if you can finish within the allowed time after applying the primer, it will be fine. Otherwise, a fresh bit of primer will be needed.
