Louise is the GODDESS of the RV-1 tail attachment - I wager that no one (except maybe Van) knows more about it. She went through at least two assistants on two different work days to assure that it is all together and airworthy.....

Next Work day? We are hoping to have the engine back very soon, and then it will be time to get a gang together. Van (himself) is workign on some fiberglass replacement parts, and once those get delivered, we're going to need cowl fitting and wheel pant experts. We'll post when we have a date!

Cool! Now that there's a flying RV8 in our life, an RV1 work day is on top of my to-do list....

For a minute there I thought you had little tiny hats hanging from the stabilizer.

Growing up in Georgia, I would call those "redneck air brakes."
