Well I'm having fun with the gear. Firstly only one gear leg would slide into place. Van's had me sand off a few thousands of an inch and now it fits well. Next only the other gear leg would allow the axle mounting bolts to slide in, Van's had me ream the four leg holes with a 1/4" reamer. Now the wheel bearings on one axle only will not slide over the axle. I tried cleaning both the inner bore of the bearing (had it off the bearing) and the axle then applying Boelube to both surfaces. It was quite hot in the hangar (for our part of the world) with the doors closed all day, I'll look at it in the morning. I will even try switching out the wheels and see how that goes.
