Default J-channel for wiring support

I was thinking of how I would run new wires in the wing lightening holes and looking at the drawing from Vans about putting a #30 hole near the edge for a tie wrap hole; but watch out the wires don't chafe.

Has anyone taken a bit of j-channel and put the flat side on one of these holes and pop-riveted it in place? The curvy side would be along the hole and provide a nice place to secure the wire without chafing.... One of these could be put every few ribs and the wire would be up and secure and neatly run. Same for pitot/AOA tubing. Easy to retrofit too.

This is great and what I did in my RV7, only I made those hangers from .030 aluminum which took a bit of work. Are these hangers available at the local home depot/lowes?
