We did some checking and found the Rotax solenoid has 4.2 ohms resistance. then put an amp meter in the fuse position and get 2.2 amps draw during cranking. These numbers jive pretty well with Mr. Ohms law so the question is, should the start fuse be larger or am I developing a bad solenoid?
We could not find any specification for the Rotax solenoid but all the other solenoid specifications we were able to find would draw more amps than the Rotax.
