Final Sliding Canopy Installation

Plans call for some anti-friction tape to be added to the fuselage sides to keep the canopy skirts from scratching the fuselage.

Any thoughts on applying the tape to the inside of the canopy skirt?

Better yet, I applied a 1" strip of felt on the side and aft skirts, except the area near the front that's trimmed. In the trimmed area, I folded a 2" piece over to make a 1" piece with a bead on the bottom.

This makes a nice seal with no air leaks anywhere.
