Hinge rod size

Need to replace the hinge pins that attach the top and bottom of the cowling on my 7a. Not sure of the diameter to get. Is it .090 and planning on getting the stainless from vans.

I replaced all the hinge pins on my Lancair with 3/32" SS welding rods from a welding supply house. They're .093 diameter 321 Stainless alloy and offer a tighter fit. If you want the standard pins, Aircraft Spruce carries the (.089) pins: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/search/search.php
