Painting the subpanel

I thought it might be a good idea to paint the sub panel and parts between the subpanel and instrument panel white to help give a little more light in the area in the case that you are having to do some work in there. Is there any reason I should not paint it white? I believe everything in there will be covered and not seen once the airplane is completed so it shouldn't be a glare issue. I noticed Ken painted his black so that is giving me pause.

Thanks,

Jim

Still building the fuselage but that is exactly what I did. I made sure to do it in Flat White to prevent direct glare from light while working in there. Hopefully, I never have to contort myself into the area.
