Throttle Cable Length

Wanting to change out my vernier throttle with friction lock. Van's site says 44.5" length. Does this work out for most people? I have O320, fixed pitch with vertical induction. I guess to be on the safe side, I'll measure my old one...just wondering what other's have done?
 
From memory. If your cable is mounted according to the original plans, on the vertical piece under the panel toward the bottom the 44.5? one should work. If you are mounting the cable up on the panel than I would recommend the 46.5? which is called out for the 7-320
