Default WTB: Wxworx WR-10

With people now moving to ADSB based weather I was wondering if there is anyone that would like to sell their Wxworx WR-10 or WR-10BT. Please PM me if you have one you would like to part with.

Default XM wx receiver

Thanks for the offer Tommy,

I sent you a PM. I don't think this is what I'm looking for to interface with my af-5600 panels for a Canadian subscription. When I talked to Sirius XM Canada they were pretty specific on the hardware that I needed for the subscription. AFS support specified the WR-10 as well.

Since I know very little about these devices and the service, maybe someone more knowledgeable on VAF will be able to provide some better insight.

Default Your query about WxWorx

I have a WXWorx that recently I removed from my RV9A. This RV9A has both an AFS 5600 and an AFS 4500 in it, so I know it worked with those units. If you're still looking for one, I can check for more specific wiring details with the technician that did the removal. (I didn't want to pay for the annual subscription since my plane recently got ADS-B added via a separate AFS module.)

Feel free also to call me at 541/488-2669. Or email me at wcp.reg@opendoor.com

Default

I've had both the REWX9ID and the WR10-BT in my plane working with my AFS5800T. Both models work, however, there's one caveat.
I bought one on Amazon and the IP address on it was not the one expected by the Efis hardware. IIRC it was something like 192.168.0.71 instead of 192.168.0.70. You'll need to sent it to AFS to reprogram it.

Default Mobile link

I have a baron mobile link in my RV-10.

https://www.wxworx.com/shop/aviation...category_id=31

It doesn't display on my HXr's, but works very well with my IPAD running ForeFlight. I can use multiple devices with it.
I bought an older used receiver and got a new mobile link unit.
Works well.
