Help with Canopy Assembly

I am looking at the C-01404A piece, it is presently a #40 hole, yet a NAS 1097AD3-3 pulled rivet is supposed to be used. That rivet is a #30 size. No where can I find the instructions to drill those holes to #30. So what is the correct size?
Maybe a different rivet is to be used?

Then Step 17 says to dome rivet on the shop head side of the rivet. The instructions call for the NAS rivet to be used and that is a pulled rivet.
I have not done that to a pulled rivet. Is this possible? Does not sound right to me.

What have some of you that has passed this point of the build done?
Thanks much

According to the info I have found a NAS 1097AD3-3 rivet has a .093"-.096" shank diameter. A #40 bit is 0.9375".

Any rivet that has AD3-xx is #40, AD4-xx is #30.

Of course, I have been wrong before (frequently...according to my wife...)

Thanks for your response guys.
I will look again at the bag that the NAS1097 is suppose to be located, maybe I looked incorrectly. Tomorrow

Thanks for the info that they are not pulled rivets. The instructions now makes sense.
