Default RV-14 pre-buy

I was contacted by a gentleman in Massena, NY who has just finished building a very nice RV-14. I drove up to see it and am giving serious consideration to possibly buying it, really enjoyed flying it. Unfortunately, NY is out of my territory, and I don't know anybody up there in the RV world (about 2 hours north of Syracuse). Does anybody know someone, good A&P, who could do a pre-buy inspection perhaps semi-close? To my untrained eye, looked like a quality build, he was very honest in pointing out a few minor flaws, but I'd like a good and impartial pre-buy. Any ideas welcome.

I might be headed up to Rochester NY soon to do another prebuy. Perhaps you and the other buyer could split the travel costs.

I've been perusing this site for close to 15 years and Vic's is one of those names that keeps popping up in a positive light. You just kind of learn to pay attention when Vic, Paul Dye, Jay Pratt or RVBuilder2002 (Scott McDaniels) name a few, post something.

If I were buying and had the opportunity for Vic to do my Pre-buy (having never met the man), by reputation alone, I would feel very comfortable.

I've built a few RVs over the years. Don't know if I have another build left in me. But if I ever get a hankerin' to buy a completed and flying RV, despite my experience, Vic is gonna inspect it.

Default thanks

Vic and all,
Many thanks. I couldn't react quick enough, was on some long planned travel/vacation. I appreciate the reply and when I get back in the country, will be in touch if I go thru with this purchase. Deeply appreciate the recommendations.
