I appreciate it but Iím going to be roughing it in the back of blackhawks and chinooks so Iím not looking to spend a lot of money.

Default no problem

good luck on the search. the cheap way out would be buy a 2-1 adapter and just go that route, with a normal GA headset.

It won't work unless you get the impedance adapter for the GA headset. Blackhawks and Chinooks use low impedance (150 Ohms) while GA headsets are high impedance (600 Ohms). This Headset is typically what many use.

I think I have one! I'm down in airline training for the week but I'll look when I get home next weekend. 👍

Default David Clark H10-40 & -46

Nick,

A friend has an H10-46, new, with the U-174-U helicopter plug

and

an H10-40, slightly used with dual plugs + an adapter to a single plug.

According to a document that David Clark just sent me, both headsets are 150 ohms impedance.

If you are interested, I think he will accept $200 for either, shipped to Conus.

Best regards,

Merrill
