Comm Whip Antenna Installation

Has anyone installed a RAMI or Comant whip comm antennas? the kind with 4 screws. It appears that the screw holes line up with four rivet holes that attach the double plates. I was considering drilling out the rivets and installing screws and nutplates (on the doublers plates).

Any thoughts on this approach.

I am not sure that the original holes have to be filled, since they will be covered by the antenna.

true but the other way is to use the #3 rivets with the small heads, which are used for installing nut plates without the need to dimple. This will hold the doublers in place.
