I hadn't noticed this, and I'm going to put a copy of this page in my engine log as a record.
As of Rev 3, Van's apparently ships the McFarlane lighter-pull throttle return springs and has new builders replace the Rotax springs:
CAUTION: Installing the 6748 Spring without removing the throttle arm may distort the spring.
Step 1: Remove the throttle arm by removing the nut and spring washer called out in Figure 1. Remove and discard the throttle
return spring supplied with the engine.
Step 2: Connect the 6748 Spring (Van's Aircraft part number SPRING-06748) supplied with the Throttle Cable to the throttle
arm then to the cable support. Re-install the throttle arm, spring washer and nut to the carburetor assembly. Torque the nut to
the value specified by the Rotax Illustrated Parts Catalog.
