Garmin GAD 27 audio alerts for discrete inputs

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if an audio alert can be configured for discrete inputs on the GAD 27? For example, if I want an audio alert for stall warning can I use one of the discrete inputs and configure an audio alert on the G3X?

I am currently looking to upgrade my panel on an RV-7A - hence the question.

Any information / assistance greatly appreciated.

Hello Jim,

Yes, both the GEA 24 and the GAD 27 have configurable input discretes which can be used for this purpose.

I have just placed an order for the G3X and associated equipment. I am sure I will have plenty of questions once I start configuring!
