My Dynon D100 internal backup battery has failed. The price for a new one is $130. I noticed on the installation schematic, it shows Pin 15 for external backup power.
I am able to find multiple 12v Li Ion battery packs for 1/4 the price of Dynon's internal battery with equal or greater capacity. Wondering if anyone has tried using the external backup ??
