There are a couple of post about the benefits of the almost RV-14 modification.
I started this thread to figure out the how-to rather than discussing why/why not.
So here is goes....
I am in the process where I have to commit, that is cutting out the F-705. Most of the descriptions I have found (incl. the PDF on antisplataero.com) is for either RV-7/9 slider or RV-6 tip up.
I want to get to a solution that keeps the beefy angle and also uses the caps in the kit to not comprise the strength also give it s finished look.
Here is my starting point:
I was trying to imaging how the new F-705 aka "ASA-705" will interfere with the beefy F-705B:
It could be I need to trim the new 705 a little in order to keep the F-705G.
Or should I just fit it just being the F-705G ?
For everything else the PDF illustrates the install pretty good.
At this point I am looking for pictures of another RV-7/9 tipper almost RV-14 install.
Does anyone have pictures to share ?
