Don't just inventory, INSPECT!

Here's what I ran into this evening.

So and email has been sent off to Van's. Hopefully I'll have my replacement soon. So lesson learned here is to INSPECT while you inventory the kit! All the other skins were fine. More pics on today's log: http://www.sadecki.net/rv/050205

You can get all the details on my site... That's HS-601PP, the HS skin. One was fine and is clecoed on the skeleton, one had 50-100 double drilled holes I discovered when slipping it over the skeleton to get it ready to cleco on.

I have never seen such poor quality control from Vans. I suppose anything is possible. I am going to check my wings skins now!

Hey Zach!

I was just reading your site. Do GET the DRDT machine! I LOVE mine!

I made the DRDT-1 from plans. Welded it together my damn self and think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread!

Go for it!
