Default RV-4 Autopilot

preparing to install an autopilot in my -4 and looking for help on hardware. the plan is to stay all Dynon as it already has a D180 in the panel. Most of the posts on the topic in the forum are fairly old and hoping to get some current advice. looks like everything is readily available with the exception of the roll servo hardware. I'd like to install it in the cockpit as this seems like the easier option with the wingtip being riveted on. Does anyone offer the roll servo hardware that includes the clamp for the torque tube ? Didn't see it on any of the websites including Dynon, Trutrak or Stein.

another question is would you install the AP74 or just utilize the autopilot in the D180 ?

I made my own from a piece of 0.032 alum. The guy who sold me a used Dynon servo kindly sent me this:

No clamp. Just a bent piece of steel or alum screwed or bolted to the upper slanted flat piece of the stick assembly with three screws/bolts. Similar to this:

Servo is mounted under the right F-428 removable step, making inspection easy.

Default RV-4 Roll mount

What I did is buy the TruTrak RV-4 roll servo mount. The Dynon servo mounts perfectly in it. I don't know if they sell it anymore, but call them and see.

Below is the link to the install plans for it.

Good luck.
