Exclamation Mirror

Good morning all.

I've seen a few different mirrors mounted on what I will call the front rollbar hoop screen support. This is on the RV8

I considering placing a mirror up here and was wondering what options there are to us and importantly what works and is secure?

Any thoughts, links to sites, suppliers and photos would be appreciated..

Thanks in anticipation.

Cheers

Bernie

Default Mirror

If you can't find exactly what fits, it is easy to mod Cessna 150 mirrors from a junkyard to fit. Small survival mirrors are also tough enough if can make an aluminum mount and either bend some tabs over to grip the mirror or use some silicone . There is also some larger thin Mylar mirrors that can be cut to shape with a band saw

Do a search for "mirrors" in teh RV-8 forum here, and you'll find all sorts of options that people have used. I am quite happy with the Autozone mirrors velcroed in place - cheap and effective.
