Default Painting interior parts before assembly?

I am thinking about painting the inside of my fuselage side skins and other parts that are visible from the inside the cockpit, before assembly.

Any reason not to do this apart from the risk that the paint gets Dirty/damaged during assembly?

I was thinking about a flat non-reflective black paint. Easy to repair any damages. Somewhat worried about extra heat from the black color.

Maybe Larry will chime in but I believe he is doing what you are proposing. If you paint black before riveting, the golden rivets look really neat on the flat black... Check out some of his build log in the Fuse section:
