Bendix vs Simmons fuel injection

Does my Lycoming IO360-A1A from vans with horizontal induction bought in 2016 have a Bendix type or Simmons type fuel injection system?

The air fuel integrator is AvStar.

The start procedures are different and if is time for first start.

Thanks

Bendix or Simmond Fuel Injection

In case anyone else ever wonders this, I received clarification from Lycoming directly that the AvStar is BENDIX type.

Thanks for posting the question; I'd never heard of Simmonds brand injection before. Sounds like it works like the 'Continental' system; is that the actual brand used on the medium/large Continentals?

Simmonds

Simmonds Injection for light aircraft was mostly used on the Beech Twin Bonanza and Queen Air aircraft. GO480 and GO540 engines.
I only found one company that overhauls these units.
Simmonds is still listed in Norwich NY. They were originally a British Company.
