Thanx! Now the big question is if I should start ordering avionics/engine instruments or if I should wait for potential news at Sun&fun....

I bet there will be a Sun-N-Fun Vans/Lycoming discount, I did that, saved me about $7K after the smoke cleared. Even if you order at Sun-N-Fun it will be 3-5 months before you get it.

Are you building your own panel/harness or having SteinAir do it?

Had it not been for the terrible weather we have at the moment, I would get my 390 delivered tomorrow, now it might not be until next week. So that part is already done.

It is the panel that I have been postponing the decision about for months now. I only hear great stories about Stein but I have more time than money and also lots of aviation grade wire already so I hope to do most of it by myself.

Default Engine Mount

First time I have seen a picture of the engine mount of an RV14, looks like the issue of cracking mounts on earlier models has been addressed

Default Engine mounted

Not torqued yet, I did not really plan to mount it today but when all fittings were in place I just could not help myself from trying. Even without help, I was able to get all the bolts in, in around 30 minutes.

Hi Mark,

May be you know, but you have to change the brake fluid bleed screw to position it down.
