This is a 6A not a 14 but this is how I have my panel set up. I like the screens on the pilots side. Dual alternators and a G5 for backups. Flys approaches on rails. Jesse Saint built this panel for me and did a great job on it.

Very impressive panel. Great job on the layout. Should make a good IFR platform.

Hi Antony,

Do you control the switches leds with a GAD 27 ? My avionic and devices are similar to your installation and I don't have light with it (the switches leds work well with direct power supply).

I have a dedicated switch and dimmer knob to control my switch lights which I changed to incandescent because I didnít like the way the ledís dimmed. I let the rest of the panel use their respective photocells for dimming. I do not control with a GAD27.

I see Anthony doesn't control his lights with his GAD27. I use it to control my LED lights and some of the device screens.

I found the GAD27 dimmers worked very well for me. I have Red and White LED's which I control with separate dimmers. An LED red and white strip runs under the glare shield and individual red and white LED's mount under the panel to illuminate the floor and fuse panel.

I found that the LED's will dim very well for a dark cockpit. Not all of the devices in my panel can be dimmed with a dimmer switch, those dim automatically with the built in photocells.

Thanks.
My wiring don't work. I dedicated the lighting bus PWM3 to switches LED. They don't light if I connect the + end on 14V and the - to the GAD27 J271 connector. I use the dimmer supply with the Garmin GAD27 option. But they light with direct power supply.
!!??? I missed something ...
