Overnight parking at Santa Maria (SMX)?

Any pireps on the best place to tie down overnight at SMX this weekend?

Meeting up with family, so we don't need transportation.

I can smell the Santa Maria BBQ already! Mmmmm.

According to a comment on airnav, it says the hotel ramp is the easiest. I stayed at the hotel last time i was there. Taxi to the hotel was the request.

I concur, the hotel ramp is the way to go. Because of the TSA you have to be escorted on to the ramp to get back to your plane and the easiest way to do this is to go through the hotel. I've parked there several times and the people are nice as can be. Just go in and give the front desk your name and tail number to register after your all tied down. I have never been there overnight so I'm not sure if there is a fee, but I've never been charged for parking all day.

You can't miss the hotel, it's near the approach end of runway 30.
