Folks,

I'm retro-fitting a Tru Trak Vizion autopilot in my well worn -4. I'd like to hear from anyone with that tee-shirt if there are any notes, warnings or cautions and/or any lessons learned during that endeavor...

I'm up in the Panhandle--Ft Walton Beach...appreciate the offer and I'll be in touch if any mutual support is required. Right now I'm just vacillating on roll servo placement. Leaning toward compartment under the forward (removable) floor, just aft of the aileron pushrods. I'm also trying to determine the best run for the wiring harness with an eye toward future "maintainability."

The TS A/P roll servo is located in my -8 is as you describe; under the pilot behind the aileron pushrods.

The only gotcha I experienced was making sure that the servo arms have enough room to move without impacting the floor skin above (or the fuse skin below) during full travel.

I'm going to guess there's less room in a -4 than an -8.
