Hi Guys,
Attached Airworthiness Bulletin issued by the Aussie CASA is for your information. http://www.casa.gov.au/wcmswr/_assets/main/airworth/awb/27/001.pdf
As managers of our aircraft?s Continuing Airworthiness and considering the advise in the AWB, can you advise the material specifications of the end fittings used on the various RV rudder cables?
As Tech Ops Group for the SAAA in Australia ( http://www.saaa.com/ ) we are happy to pass on your feed back to our members.

Don't know about the later models, but the original RV-6x plans call for 1/8 7x19 galvanized cable with AN667-4 and AN668-4 fittings for the rudder cables.

However, I believe the swaged fittings can be either 303 or 304 steel depending on the revision of the specifications.
