Avstar fuel servo questions

Hi guys,

I'm at the point of hooking up fuel lines and installing cable linkages. My engine (IO-320 D1A) came with the Avstar servo, Model AUX-5VA1, which seems to be similar to the Bendix unit. There was nothing in the way of a manual for setup here, so I've got a call into Avstar to get answers to a couple of questions.

Thought I'd try here too to see what others with a similar setup had found.

1) I'd like to plumb the inlet line to the other side of the throttle body, because as configured from the factory, it's right in the way of the mixture linkage. There's more space on the throttle side. Is this OK? Other side is capped with a threaded brass plug.

2) When the stamped "R" is up against the stop as in the photo, it's full rich, right? It seems obvious, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Here's where the original straight fitting goes:

Here's where I want to put a 90-degree fitting, on the other side:

Don Rivera of Airflow Performance can assist with AVSTAR and Bendix servos. He services both as well as his brand.
