HS Riveting

Hi
I'm just started riveting HS-609PP bars to HS-603PP rear spar and the AN470AD4-6 don't conform to gauge.Do I conform to the gauge on height and ignore the fatness or go to AN470AD4-7?

And make sure that the 'stack' is tight before (and during) riveting. Many of us started out thinking that Van's callouts for rivet length were too short, but once we learned to keep the stack tight and to not oversize our holes (poor technique, dull bits, over-deburring, etc), we discovered that the callouts were almost always correct.
