Oil filter adapter

I am going to remove the screen from my 0360 and replace it with an oil filter adapter. I see there is also available an all aluminum assembly which replaces a traditional oil filter. It contains a reusable metalic filtering element and a magnet. Does anyone have any experience with one of these? If it does the job of filtration as advertized, it looks to be an attractive option. Any feedback or experiences appreciated.

I followed up with a visit to Champion's site, where they state the Champion oil filter has 8+ square feet of filter media, pleated up inside the canister.
Sacramento Sky Ranch's Engineering book states that Champion filters have a 10 micron rating.
You might want to compare the filter you are considering to the industry standard, and go from there.
