Panel wiring made easier....

We are building a three piece panel to allow us easier access for maintenance. The only way that can work is if you can take the panel piece out with enough slack.

So? Easy solution. We built four temporary braces to hold the panel away from the frame while wiring.

Notice the center stack does not have to be out. You have side access to that.

We still need to clean up the wires and have good anchors for them. The loops will be the right size though.

It may be easier, but still not easy. Lots of wires to go.

Clever....very clever.

That's why I like VAF...

I am doing something similar in the panel upgrade part of a re-build.

Only my panel is 4 piece-
-Frame
-Lower sub panel, switches, controls, vents, misc
-Side panels, pilot & co-pilot
-Center Stack

But also arranged wiring paths and harnesses so that most does not go through holes and 80% or so of the wiring can be done in a jig (mockup) outside the plane.
