My 495 which came with the kit gave up on me and of course there is no service available, acquired a 496 thinking is would be a direct replacement (less weather). Not the case, there seems to be no link between the 496 and the Dynon 180 or the auto pilot system. Does anyone know how to tell the Garmin to link up with the 496. Thanks for your help.

I had problems with my 496 a couple of years ago so I swapped it out for a 396 I have used for probably 8 years. Once I made the settings talked about it works great with my D-180 and autopilot. It was plug and play after the settings were correct.
