Auto Pilot Servo Bolts

The Dynon Servo instructions call for non drilled bolts attaching the pushrod to the push/pull rod. Also Vans calls for non drilled bolts to attach push/pull tubes to the control stick.

However, Vans call for the rudder cables to use drilled bolts. Seems like all the bolts that will see rotation would be drilled.

I'm assuming the bearings make the difference.

Thank you in advance for the explanation.

You have it correct. If there is a metal sleeve acting as a bearing, you should tighten the nut/bolt onto it, to make sure the sleeve rotates within the bearing, not the bolt rotating within the sleeve.
