B&C oil filter adaptor question ?

Does anyone know if a B&C 700-H adaptor with .75 " spacer will work on an RV3 / 0320 conical mount ???

I have been looking at the same situation and I do not see how it will work with out modifying the mount. The diagonal cross brace is in the way, and it looks to me as tho if you use a longer filter adapter you will be awfully close to the firewall before the filter clears the brace.
So either the mount (cross brace) will need to be modified, or you will have to provide clearance at the firewall.
I have decided to go with the screen for now, and possibly a remote filter at a later date.

I think Paul found that 1.4" worked on Tsam. It's here.

And I've seen a photo of the stock Lycoming adapter and filter used on a -3B that had the firewall recess carefully oriented for it.
