Question baggage floors to bulkhead rivets

Hi guys

Any advice on how to rivet the baggage floors to the bulkhead, especially the rivets close to the side skins? For the rivet gun I only have a straight rivet set for AN470AD3-X rivets and none with displacement (and apparently none of my builder friends has another one). The ones closer to the center may be squeezed I think...

thanks
Fabian

Default Bulkhead rivets

Hi, I just finished this step last week, used 3” straight set with 3x rivet gun, worked great. Dennis

Default Set for bulkhead rivets

I used the offset rivet set in my 2x gun. They were fairly easy to set with the fuselage rotated about 45 deg.

OK, thanks. I have to try again. I had the feeling I couldn't shoot perpendicular because of the baggage floor...

Default 10° Offset rivet set

You can get a 10° Offset rivet set from Yardstore for $5.50.

I used only tungsten bucking bars for all riveting in my RV14. I think they are indispensable when the rivets are not very accessible.
