RV-8 QB question

Hi All,
Drawing 64 calls out 12 AN4-11A bolts that are to be installed in the RV8 tail dragger...these are the bolts that go thought the wing spar in the center fuselage---
Wondering if anyone has orientated theses bolts (opposite to the plans) so the nuts are on the "outside" of the spar...., seems much easier to get the proper torque if one installs/orientates the nut bolt combination opposite to what is indicated on the plans.
I'm familiar with the bolt orientation Rule of Thumb. However, in this case I'm curious if one installs these bolts going "outward" could this create a clearance issue/problem with the nut being installed on the outside of the spar??
---Installing the nut on the outside of the spar will allow me to get a torque wrench on the nut----

Thanks in advance.
