I was just admiring my RV-8 elevators and noticed that I riveted the narrow counterbalance skin overtop the elevator skin in lieu of overlapping the skin on top of the counterbalance arm. (Where they overlap a couple inches). Aesthetically it's no issue, in fact as the airstream travels it almost makes sense aesthetically. Im going to leave it, unless I am overlooking something detrimental here??
