W-319 Root End Trim?

Anyone have a photo of how they trimmed the W-319 Flap Brace at the root end? I'm wondering how to fit it around the tapered rear spar fitting there.

There's probably something obvious that I'm missing.

Here's the way I trimmed it:



The flange on the left side of the cut-out won't have a rivet immediately near the cut-out end because of the taper of the rear spar fitting. But I think this will work - it fits, anyway.
