BNC connector question

AX-O

Well Known Member
I bough Princeton fuel senders. They came with a defferent connector than what i need. So i cut it off and was going to install a BNC connector. The connectors i have work on radio/xponder cable, so the collar is fairly big. The wire out of the princeton sender is like a 24 gauge wire. Do they make BNC connectors for wires that small? If so, where can i buy them. If not, what have others done? Thanks

Check out the selection at L-Com ... they have every size of BNC connector, it seems

The Princeton units use a small diameter coax, like RG-174, and L-Com has connectors and cable assemblies for this. See if you can read the cable type from the jacket .. and match it up with the correct connector.

Since it's not a RF signal it may not be a true co-ax cable, just a simple shielded single wire cable.

If this is the case, just pick the closest co-ax external diameter size and get the corresponding BNC connector.
